GCompris an Educational Game for School Students.

Hello Readers,

I am back with a new post to share my teaching experience using the GCompris Education Game.

We use different software for classes I to X during ICT Classes in Computer Lab like GCompris, Paint,  3D Paint, MS Office, Libre Office, Scratch, Python, etc.


GCompris: GCompris is a free software that has a bunch of educational games approximately 170 games covering Mathematic, Science, National Flags, and Mental Problems. First, it helps the learners to work with a Mouse and Keyboard (Students of Grades I to IV) devices.

The students learn to Move the mouse, Click the mouse, Select an object, Double-click, Right-click, and more. And Typing different keys on the keyboard, fast typing with the falling letters game, using arrow keys to move the Penguins to a Football game, etc.




This App has 8 categories of games:

  1. Keyboard & Mouse Related Games
  2. Logical Games
  3. Physics Games
  4. Puzzles
  5. Number Games
  6. Reasoning Games
  7. English Related Games
  8. Mind Games

Students love to play all the games irrespective of their age, grade, and gender.
